Personal bottle
Here, I had an assignment to come up with an IoT solution for a problem that happened at home. At my house, the problem was that everyone didn’t drink enough, that is why I came up with the smart water bottle.
I want to help you to drink more water. I want to do this through personal support with this product. This is why I created the Personal Bottle, which helps you to drink enough water every day. This can be done by using different sensors.
Used sensors
Sensors that are used: The sensors I want to use to achieve this are light, sound, vibration, magnets and pressure through weight.
State 1: Feedback when your bottle is empty
When your bottle is empty and needs to be filled with water, it shows a red light. Next to the red light, the figure will vibrate. This will take about 1 minute and you will get a one-time sound.
State 2: Feedback when the water sits to long in the bottle
When the water has been too long in the bottle, the light turns orange. In addition to the color change, the figure floats upwards in the bottle.
State 3: Feedback when you are doing well
When you are doing well and drink regularly, the light will turn green and the figure will stay at the bottom of the bottle. It makes a sound that says “Super”.
State 4: Feedback when you drink too much water in a day
When you drink too much water, the bottle also gives a signal. The figure starts to vibrate when you open the bottle. The figure is now floating on top of the bottle and the light is red.
State 5: Feedback when you have consumed enough water over a longer period of time.
If you fill your bottle regularly and do this over a longer period of time, the figure will start to dance and you will get a light mark. You will also get a light show and a sound that says “Another winner”. If you keep this up every week, you can set your own sound, change vibrations or upgrade your figure.
