NS Quiz

The NS QUIZ was an assignment for the NS, to keep children entertained while they travel by train. We were allowed to think up anything and research revealed several points. This was for the age group of 4 to 6 years.

The assignment was to make it for children. Therefore I made logging in as easy as possible, by putting your OV on the image. We also used a large font and childlike images. In addition to text, we also made it voice-controlled, so that the children don’t necessarily have to read it. Through your OV, the computer knows who you are and you can continue. You can play together with other children from the train. Or of course alone with the computer, who represents the conductor

Start game

With your OV, the game knows who you are and you can continue. You can play with other children on the train. Or alternatively, the computer that represents the conductor.

Memory

Here you play games against each other. The ‘main game’ is memory. When you turn over a card, you get a question that you have to answer. If you do this correctly, you may continue and find the next picture. If you get two of the same pictures, you have a match and then you get a point.

Question/game

Here you have an example of such a question to be answered. The children have to find the differences between the two images. In this way, the child learns about the NS and has fun during the train journey, which was the ultimate goal. The game prevents children from being annoying during the journey, to the annoyance of fellow travelers and the embarrassment of the parents.
